Maggie McDonald Condon's "Dames of Our Lives" is a one-woman, 19-character comedy whodunit.  The show spoofs everything from Shakespeare to soap operas, lounge singers to Hitchcock, Grey's Anatomy to Game of Thrones!  In it Jessica Ketchum and Officer Desaldorf look for the killer of small town bigwig Jack Blackwig.  The many suspects include sassy Shirley U. Canfelme from the Blackwig Beauty and Bait Shop, Agnes McMaid his doddering domestic, Norma Bates the jittery motel manager, long suffering Dr. Juliet Capulet from St. Somewhere Hospital and serial widow Eleanor Pointitty Mason Dixon Potter Blackwig!  Come meet the "Dames of Our Lives".

DORIS KAMINSKY
The "real" tv-watching, donut-eating housewife of Pottersville. Doris discovered early in life that while the best things in life aren't free, they can probably be won on "Wheel of Fortune.”

CINDY ELLERBY
The daughter of the deceased, newscaster and wannabe lounge singer.  Cindy is a testament to the woman of Pottersville, unflappable, perky and a little cuckoo.

 SALLY SANOTTY
The nasally sounding newscaster. Sally Sanotty has been (or so she claims) on the cutting edge of the late breaking news stories since she was a tot. The first in her town to discover uranium in the water supply, Sally, then age three, sued the municipality in the now famous Sanotty vs. Dirty Water Junction case.

OFFICER DESALDORF
A Law and Order groupie and Pottersville's newly promoted police officer. Officer Desaldorf's long arm of the law will always get her man (or woman).

 DR. JULIET CAPULET
Juliet is the wounded, totally self-absorbed, illegitimate daughter and St. Somewhere Hospital physician. A renaissance woman in the truest sense of the word, Dr. Capulet heals the sick, bringshome the bacon, fries it up in a pan and sleeps around.

ELEANOR POINTITTY MASON DIXON POTTER BLACKWIG
The many times married and widowed, self-ordained queen of Pottersville. If marrying well is a career, then Eleanor is CEO. Born Ellie Poorgirl Pointitty in Humble Beginnings, PA, Madame Blackwig became synonymous with the phrase, "this one horse town will never hold me" by her second birthday.

JESSICA KETCHUM
The murder enthusiast. When not on location with her TV series,"Murder, Anyone?" Ms. Ketchum can be seen visiting relatives all over the world and making guest appearances in regional theaters (like this?).

AND LET'S NOT FORGET...

Barney (Pottersville's chief of police and shuffling shmuck of a husband) an angry dwarf at the scene and an eager patient's mother.

WHO'S WHO IN THE CAST

AGNES McMAID
Jack Blackwig's doddering, old domestic.
Agnes has spent most of her life as #1 cook and bottle washer at the Blackwig estate. She is the chapter president of The Daughters of the Red Coats, a membership organization devoted to the
spread of winter wear.

SHIRLEY U. CANFELME
Jack Blackwig's sassy sister from Boise, she operates the Blackwig Beauty and Bait Shop. Shirley is the "sole" manager of the business which boasts, "Beauty is our name and tackle is our game.”

NORMA BATES
The jittery manager of the Blackwig Motel, formerly the Bates Motel. Norma and the Bates Motel have enjoyed  limited notoriety as the subject of a little known documentary produced by an overweight bald man. Norma wouldn’t hurt a fly.

CANDY SAKRIN

"Ready-Set-Go" is a battle cry for the nymphet, teenybopper mistress of Jack Blackwig. Candy is head cheerleader, a devoted hospital candystriper and the
energetic ‘sis-boom-ba' flirt of Pottersville High.

GLADYS RAPP
Gladys is the finicky legal secretary of Jacoby Meyers. With will reading her specialty, Gladys has helped wrap up important cases for her firm.
